Liberty House Restaurant and Catering, Jersey City

After deciding to exit Maritime Parc we walked over to the Liberty House Restaurant.  This is only one of six from the Landmark Hospitality arsenal. We visited Stone House at Stirling Ridge last week for Brunch, remember? The Liberty House grabs you as soon as you walk in, so much that
you just might walk into the large glass doors....you've been warned. I forgot to mention that I woke up that morning with laryngitis and I sounded like Uncle Paulie from Goodfellas. We decided to go to the bar to review the menu and check the place out. This is another beautiful restaurant with an open view of the Hudson. The cocktail list offered so many refreshing choices, I recommend tasting the Liberty Flower or one of the three different kinds of Mojito. Since we enjoyed the mussels so much at the Stone House we decided to try the mussels here. They are served with fennel, shallots, baby arugula , Peppadew Peppers and a white wine broth.....Outstanding....a must have. The mussels were so sweet and tender and full of flavor, ask for extra bread for sucking up the goodness. We are making plans to revisit again for dinner, can't wait. I've attached their web site below....if you love to eat and drink you must check this place out.
