Elvis Run, 9/11 Motorcycle Rally, NJ

This past Sunday aka, Pinky Tuscadero and I went on a motorcycle run to raise money for the 343 fallen fighters that paid the Ultimate Sacrifice.  I've been to many motorcycle run in the past and maybe because it was the ten years anniversary of 9/11 this one had an incredible turnout, had to have over 2,000 bikers show up.  It was a tremendous turn out.

This being "Pinky's" first rally she was I'd say overwhelmed as we rode.  Sitting on the back taking photos and waving to the crowds as if she was in a contestent in Miss America Parade.  The ride started in Rockaway and ended in Newark, full police escort..... Riding with a police escort is a little different then just crusine alone. We never have to stop for any lights so it pretty cool going thru the intersecations as you watch the police stop traffic in all directions.

We arrived in Newark with a sea of cycles, again over 2,000....we enjoyed the music and food and honored the memory of all the fallen fire fighters.

God Bless them all. Web site attached below if you wish to donate and see photos.

9/11, Eat, Drink & love each other....

As we all prepare to remember the events of 9/11 I wanted to express my thoughts...eat, drink and love one another....tomorrow I'm going to throw Aka, "Pinky" on the back of the bike and head out to a motorcycles rally to raise money for the fallen fireman families from 9/11. Be grateful for everyday you have with the ones you love.

Village Kitchen, Marmora

It's always great having breakfast in a local hang out. As I sit and enjoy my eggs the waitress calls everyone by their first name as they walk in. What a great feeling it is. Just like Norm from Cheers, everyone know your name....this restaurant has been here for over 20 years not just bucause they serve a good breakfast but because the staff makes you feel great inside.....well done.
